Phase 3 - Online Training (was due May 20, but if you didn't finish, get this finished asap)

First, you will be creating an account on Moodle (where all the course work is).  When you create  this account, Moodle will email a link back to you to confirm your account (so be sure and have your email available - this confirmation takes about a minute).  You should be using the Gmail account you created for this purpose. Be sure to use your real first and last name!

Ok, now create your account by going to www.answerbay.com and complete your  online training here.

Phase 1 Activities and Online School Computer Checklist

1. Create a summer school binder.

2. Create a Gmail (E-mail) Account - click here to do so.  (Be sure to use your first or last name in your Gmail account, write it down, as well as your password).

3.  "Do or Do Not - There is no Try!"  So, will you complete online work for summer school? Can you see this video below?

4.  Open this "Online Summer School Checklist" document  in Microsoft word, save it to your computer (or try opening this document which is in a different format or this document in pdf).  Then, print the document and complete it as you complete the rest of these steps.

(**You will need to bring this printed calendar to the parent/student information evening later in April).

NOTE:  If you're not able to open this document, download Open Office to your computer and try again.

5. Open the "summer school calendar" document.  Write or type in when you will be completing your online summer school source.  Write down which days you will put in about 6 hours per day or total of 140 hours during the 7 week summer school program.  Put in any family vacations, summer camps, etc. so you make sure you have enough time to complete the necessary work (To earn 10 credits this summer, you will need to put in 6 hours per day, 5 days a week).  Then, print your calendar and put it in your binder.  (**You will need to bring this printed calendar to the parent/student information evening later in April).

***Now, be sure to print both your summer school checklist and your summer school calendar and put them in your summer school binder.  You'll need to have these for the parent/student information evening later in April.**
